Major Renovation 6
Extension and Renovation for a return client and family, We Renovated this home in 2012 When the homeowner first got married and 2- children later they needed more space and gave me a call in 2017 with a set of plans. Here is what we did:
- Removed all the exterior siding and sheeting from the home to insulate the joists (No Insulation)
- Removed the complete heating ducts in the home and ran a new system that didn’t leak and worked (I have to complement my HVAC contractor he figured out how to make 1-System work efficiently)
- We added a extension 1st and 2nd floors.
- All new Anderson Windows.
- Framing.
- New Roofing.
- Electrical and LED lights.
- Spray Foamed the new part.
- Plumbing just only rerouting and adding a Laundry Room.
- Renovated 1/2 Bath.
- Family Room 1st Floor.
- Added and Stained Existing Hardwood floors.
- New Front Door and Garage Door.
The Homeowners are very Happy with the Renovation, It’s not easy for People with children to go through the process and yes homeowners will give me a reference.
7/22 Unfortunately the homeowners had a small fire with a lot of Smoke Damage. We completed the Project Before Christmas.

Complete renovation of condo on Windham Loop by the Staten Island Mall.

This was a tree damage project and worked with homeowners insurance co. When we are dealing with an insurance issue we always incorporate a Public Adjuster, the office is located in Staten Island and they are in business for many years with a great reputation, I have also used them for my family’s homes
I was contacted by HOUZZ.COM for this project and worked with the homeowner and her family. By law and Code we worked with a Architect and Engineer with a set of plans to rebuild the structure. Here is what we did:
- Reframed some of the roof rafters.
- Removed the existing shingled roof and soffits.
- Installed proper venting for the attic.
- Removed and replaced water-damaged plywood on the roof.
- Replaced sheetrock in the ceilings in the bedrooms.
- Installed new R-38 insulation.
- Skim coated walls that were old-fashioned plaster.
- Installed new baseboard heat.
- Replaced light fixtures.
- Painted bedrooms and hallway
- Installed a new shingle roof
Homeowner and Family are very pleased this was a 4 week start to finish. We have been working with many insurance companies over the years and I take the project out of the owners and deal with Public Adjuster, Architect, Engineer, Building Dept, Permits and inspections with no out of pocket cost to the homeowners.
Major Renovation 10
This job was a referral from a well known builder that I worked for when I was in my early 20’s. I have a great respect for him and his family they always looked out for me and always recommend me for work.
- We raised the floors due to them being uneven
- Install a load bearing header and floor joists to support the Master bath on the 2nd Floor
- Added recessed lighting
- Moved plumbing to accommodate the design for the kitchen
- Installed Hardwood flooring in Family and Dinning room
- We did a mud job on the Kitchen and 1/2 Bath floors
This was a 6 week project. Homeowners are pleased with the work and left a great review.
